This application offers a comprehensive approach to alarm customization, allowing users to modify the appearance of alarms, easily create and delete them, and configure various settings to suit individual preferences.
For users who experience difficulty waking, the app provides options such as limiting volume levels or gradually increasing volume upon alarm activation. Additionally, it supports dismissing alarms via NFC cards or tags, adding an extra layer of convenience.
The full list of features includes:
- Unified interface for editing and viewing all alarms.
- Swipe left to delete a selected alarm.
- Swipe right to duplicate an alarm.
- Ability to play music from the device to wake up, including selecting entire folders.
- Optional NFC-based alarm dismissal, configurable on a per-alarm basis via the gear icon next to the volume slider.
- Gradual volume increase when the alarm sounds, adjustable per alarm in the same manner.
- Restriction on volume changes during alarm activation, configurable individually.
- Text-to-speech announcement of the current time at a user-defined cadence, available for each alarm.
- Select the audio source for alarms, such as Alarm, Call, Music, Notification, or Ringtone, with options per alarm.
- Customization of visual elements including theme colors, alarm names, active days, time display styles, and AM/PM indicator in Settings → Appearance.
- Statistics tracking the number of alarms dismissed, snoozed, missed, created, or deleted.
Permissions Required
- NFC: Optional, enables detection of NFC tags for dismissing alarms.
- Storage: Optional, permits access to stored music files if setting music playback as an alarm tone. This permission is requested only if needed.
- Vibrate: Optional, allows the app to vibrate the device as part of alarm notifications.
- Startup: Necessary for restoring alarms upon device reboot. Without this permission, alarms may not persist after restarting the device.
- Wakelock: Essential for keeping the device awake during active alarms to ensure they are received and played correctly.
